About

A voice in my head says I should stick to one topic, and there is a thread about the idea of mutual success versus competition for success running through these posts.

Apart from that, as is the case with many things in this modern world, the barriers to starting a new thing are so low that they easily outstrip the thinking process that decides the ultimate question - Why do this at all?

Mass marketing spend billions on getting into people's heads and telling them what they want.

So when the barriers are low and we are being pushed from behind, the risk is that the things we do are not really ours.

They are not really answers to our big desires. They are just easy targets on the path of least resistance so we can sleepwalk onwards.

Imagine for a moment what it would be like we imagined that 'success' meant that everyone succeeds and that the success of everyone was what each person desired for the others.
